Latest Trump/Clinton Poll


The USC/LATimes Poll started on July 4 taking a cross section of demographics of 3,000 voters each week. Trump still has a long way to go. Even if he increases his margin, he has to win the key states and get the electoral vote. He's not popular with Blacks and Hispanics for some strange reason. The Republican Party is the party that freed the slaves and wants to create jobs. As Dinesh D'Souza says, "The Democrats were also the party of the KKK as well as slavery, and the slave-owning mentality continues to shape the policies of Democratic leaders today."

It's not the popular vote that wins elections.
A little Trivia for the day:
  • In 1824 Andrew Jackson won the popular vote but got less than 50% of the electoral votes. John Quincy Adams became the next president when he was picked by the House of Representatives.
  • In 1876 Samuel Tilden won the popular vote but lost the election when Rutherford B. Hayes got 185 electoral votes to Tilden’s 184.
  • In 1888 Grover Cleveland won the popular vote but lost the election when Benjamin Harrison got 233 electoral votes to Cleveland’s 168.
  • In 2000 Al Gore won the popular vote but lost the election to George Bush. In the most highly contested election in modern history, the U.S. Supreme Court stopped the Florida recount of ballots, giving Bush the stat
